Procuração na Hora

The electronic power of attorney is a result of the systematic and extensive judicial construction of the rules set forth in article 18, no. 7 of the Act 7/2007 (which creates the citizen's card [CC] and governs its issue and use), and article 3, no. 1 of the Statute 290-D/99 (which regulates the validity, efficacy and probative value of electronic documents and electronic signatures, including the one on the CC), with further changes and additional provisions (Statutes 62/2003, 116-A/2006 and 165/2004). This power of attorney complies with the legal prescription related to the writing form, since its content can be presented as a written statement. Thus, it is not necessary to create a new act regarding this subject regulation, since the acts in effect and, particularly, SIMPLEX and the CC Law, sufficiently and generally regulate these applications. Nevertheless, its specific use has been exclusively innovated by Procuração na Hora and is now available to the general public, absolutely free.
